The western themed amusement park was located at Monterey Road and Baranham Lane in San Jose, California. Their address was 4885 Monterey Road, San Jose, California. It was built in 1961 on the site of the Victorian estate of Congressman Hayes.

Frontier Village is now closed. When it was open it featured over 30 rides and attractions including: the Ferris Wheel, a 1910 Merry-Go-Round, Tarantula, Duster-Turnpike, Apache Whirlwind, Stagecoach, Indian Jim Canoes, Burro Pack Train, RG Railroad, Kitty Hawk, Lost Dutchman Mine, Petting Zoo Island, Antique Autos, El Sito Mysterio, Shooting Gallery, Sidewinder, Round-Up, Archery, Old 99, Rainbow Falls Fishing, Arcade, Skee Ball, Last Chance Casino and the Marshal’s Office.
