Japanese Village and Deer Park, Buena Park, California – historic images

Japanese Village and Deer Park, was in Buena Park, California, and it is now closed. It was inspired by the world-famous Deer Park in Nara, Japan. You could pet and feed scores of tame deer that roamed free, be enchanted by doves in the dove pavilion, sip tea in a restful Japanese Tea House while rare Golden Carp and Black Swan swim in nearby lagoon. The following historic images from vintage postcards, old photos, and more, provide a great visual look back at the history of Japanese Deer Park in Buena Park, California.
